  • From - Shude Hill Interchange

  • To - Hope Hospital

  • Insert all your relevant information.

The bus times below were correct September 2006.

Buses start from Shude Hill Interchange, Stand F,  and come via Elmwood Church.  The tram is not helpful it only takes you to Eccles Town Centre

  • No.67 to Cadishead (every 10 minutes)

  • No.68 to Farnworth, Bolton (every 20 mins)

  • No.100 to Trafford Centre/Warrington (every 20 mins)

For anybody travelling from outside Manchester, you can get the Metro Link from Piccadilly Railway Station to Bury.  Shude Hill Interchange is only a short distance about two or three stops.

Travelling to Elmwood Church from the North, South, East, West by CAR

Travelling from the West (Liverpool) via M62

Travelling from the North via M6

  • Continue up M62

  • Join the M602 signed Manchester

  • Leave M602 at Junction 2

  • Take left exit to Pendleton on A576

  • Travel less than half a mile

  • Hope Hospital is on the right

  • Elmwood Church is on the left

  • Turn into Wilton Road and into car park

 

 

 

  • Take M62 to Manchester

  • Leave at Junction 3 onto M60

  • Continue towards Stockport and Airport

  • Continue on until Junction 12 and sign for M602 for Manchester and Salford (not Leeds)

  • Keep to the left

  • Leave M602 at Junction 2

  • Take left exit to Pendleton on A576

  • Travel less than half a mile

  • Hope Hospital is on the right

  • Elmwood is on the left

  • Turn into Wilton Road and into the car park

Travelling from the South via M6

Travelling from the East via M62

  • At Junction 21a, join the M 62 signed Manchester, Bolton, Leeds

  • Leave M62 at Junction 12, continue on to..

  • M602 signed Manchester.

  • Leave at Junction 2

  • Take left exit to Pendleton on A576

  • Travel less than half a mile

  • Hope Hospital is on the right

  • Elmwood is on the left

  • Turn into Wilton Road and into the car park

 

  • Keep on the M62 at Junction 18 join up with M60 travelling West.

  • Travel on M60 passed Whitefield, Walkden, Worsley.  Keep on M60

  • At Junction 12 keep left to join M602

  • Leave at Junction 2

  • Take left exit to Pendleton on A576

  • Travel less than half a mile

  • Hope Hospital is on the right

  • Elmwood is on the left

  • Turn into Wilton Road and into the car park

CAR PARKING RESTRICTIONS

The streets around Elmwood, that is Wilton Road, Timothy Close, Vestris Road, Verdun Road, Vaughan Road, Vandyke Road, all have restricted parking.  Only those with resident permits are allowed to park.

Parking is allowed on Orient Road, Orama, Otranto, Ormonde, Odessa, Orme Avenues and Oxford Road.

Elmwood has a car park which can accommodate about 60 cars.  On Sunday mornings we are allowed to park at the Social Services Offices off Eccles Old Road,  just passed Lancaster Road on the left.
